Only Cleverley??......
Bill Kenwright takes some stick, but getting £27m for Fellaini must be up there with one of the greatest deals in the history of the game??

Far more an example of just how clueless and out of his depth Moyes is. 30m is pretty much a standard fee for untested midfielders in the PL. Moyes had worked with Fellaini for 5 years and paid 15m for him at age 21. Fellaini had a 23m release clause, which Moyes should have known about, which had passed which generally places his fee higher than the release. Plus Moyes had made such a balls up of the transfer window that Fellaini was his only hope of even making a signing, so there was a reason to push further on price there.
I don't even think Fellaini and Mata can be judged as Man United players. They need to get a real manager in there to allow them to prove themselves, but just like everyone else they are screwed while Moyes is there.

| Carraghers right. Liverpool have to seize the moment, this is their big chance. They can't fall into the trap of thinking 'well look how well we've done this season, with CL football we'll be able to get better players and then we'll REALLY have a chance''.
Chelsea don't have a decent striker and man city started slightly slowly under pellegrini. Liverpool have had few injuries to their best players, no european football and suarez and sturridge in the form of their lives. I would say they will not get a better chance to end the drought.
This is their moment. If they win the rest of their games, they might just snatch it. How costly those xmas time losses to cuty and chelsea could be. Sometimes it's better to be pragmatic and make sure you don't lose.

Any links to audio/youtube vids? The ones of Liverpool fans ringing up about Benitez/Kuyt/Sissoko used to be hilarious.

Maybe, but wouldn't it be ironic if Chelsea lose the title because their manager (supposedly the greatest in the game) decided to go to Old Trafford and park the bus, instead of doing what every other team has done this year at Man United, and go for the throat??

| I get the impression now liverpool are starting to smell the title. They can feel it.
If today's result stays the same as is current, then they are in control of the situation. Win the rest of their games, and they will be champions, regardless of what happens in city's extra games.

And if City win all of their games they'll win the title instead.
The truth is it's utterly retarded to count on a side winning six games in a row, especially when two of those games are against two of the other title challengers.
It's pretty much certain that all the top three will drop some points between now and the end of the season. The winner will be the one that drops the least.
