| It doesn't matter to me either way, I understand both of your points, two of the best games of the year were in snow/cold games Miami@Pittsburgh , Vikings@Ravens, some of the best games in NFL history were cold weather games as well.

| Quote Adamjk="Adamjk"It's not really an argument from a dome team perspective. A team like Green Bay obviously play in cold conditions and has in recent years always had a good passing game. I'm talking about when the weather gets so bad that it drags the game down to such a level that it isn't that great to watch. Saying that, I do still like the fact that games carry on regardless of weather but bad weather games generally bore me to tears. I like a good low scoring defensive battle but when the ball is barely travelling in the air and players look like they're trying to run across quicksand, it bores me. I get the feeling that most people have this romanticised, nostalgic view of snow games because I don't understand how people can enjoy watching them.'"
I think it comes down to preparation and discipline/mental toughness when it gets in bad weather situations. Something which, understandably, dome teams/warm weather teams don't have. Many games are played in horrible conditions but the games are still good because both teams are prepared for it. eg. Packers v Giants (Brett's last game) which was the second coldest game ever and the week before when we played Seattle in a blizzard.
I'm not actively hoping for poor weather but i think it is excellent that the opportunity is there for changing conditions.

| Made me laugh last night when watching sky sports news. One of the presenters asking (and being serious) if the Super Bowl 'was in any doubt and could it be cancelled' what do they think this is Soccerball?
I don't mind watching games in any weather aslong as it's not a blow-out. Did find it quite annoying during the Eagles/Lions snow game this year though, but that was cos I couldn't actually see the game at the start when it was a blizzard and that was on my tv so can't imagine what it was like in the stadium!
What's this new pro bowl format about anyway? Only seen bits of it but have to say it looks just as pathetic as it usually does if not more so, just a lot of rubbish to fill tv slots. Don't see how it's gonna make the actual game itself more competitive/exciting so it's pretty pointless IMO.

It seems the Pro Bowl teams are drafted by two former players instead of fans deciding who they would like to see. Deion Sanders is one and the other is Jerry Rice. It was quite dumb to hear the report on SSN about whether the Super Bowl will go ahead ( of course it will ). I thought the Eagles vs. Lions game was enhanced by the lovely snow coming down as it did and made for fun viewing but I doubt the fans in the stadium enjoyed it too much.

| Having played in the snow last year, I can say it's awesome. We only had to clear the lines on the pitch, so we had a nice 6 inch thick cushion to land on.
Much better than playing on a waterlogged bog or on a rock solid pitch.

| Sounds like the only white on the field on Sunday will be The Seahawks in their change jerseys
Is it right that 8 of the last 9 Super Bowls have been won by teams wearing white?
Hopefully a lucky omen for Seattle

| Some experts predicting a 20+ points win for Denver! What happened to Seattle's supposed best defence in the NFL?

Probably the same experts who said the same about the 49ers last year
Denver look impressive but on the big day you never know?!

Not sure about that, think I heard somewhere that Denver had lost the last 3 SB's when they have played in orange though.

| I'll take Denver. As good as Seattle's D is. I can't see them stopping Peyton enough times.
Although I hope Seattle win to drive Wilson's price up.
