What one person considers trolling, another might consider a fair point in a discussion.
Yes, you get the occasional idiot who will go onto opposition sites and slate them after they get beaten/off field problems etc, but most know to ignore them or in several cases begin mocking them back for using poor logic or limited facts, however this can lead to the person being mocked going off in a huff and locking the thread'"
1. I go on LU The Fight Club for fun......I make no bones about it. I was invited there to troll and I don't disappoint...they are that regretful that they banned me for 3 months for using the word "nip" to describe Japanese rugby, yet the constantly call me a thick paddy Irish troll.
2. I post about RL here....both the good stuff and the bad. Some posters, like the OP in this thread, attempt to tag me as a troll here in the hope of getting me banned.....most of the original trouble makers from the NRL boards here resent the fact that they are banned from this site...it is their stated aim to try and get me banned....this thread is a perfect example.
3. Aside from the NRL TV deal, RL as a professional sport is far from perfect. Neither is Union, the game I am supposed to represent, but whilst Union finds it's openly professional feet, it does have the mammoth International set up to tide it over.....league doesn't and as such, finds itself 90%+ reliant on Uncle Rupert's TV cash. Not sure about anyone else, but that to me is not a good business model.
4. League unlimited restricted my access to the fight club only as some form of punishment...the reality is, there is a far greater level of debate on this forum than there, which is what a forum is all about...debate and discussion. If we all agreed with each other we'd be as boring as bat!
