| According to the annual report of the NFLPA, in the year to 28 February 2013 DeMaurice Smith made $1.97m.
The NFLPA lead counsel Tom DePaso got paid $550k and Chief Operating Officer Ira Fishman $684k. In total, the NFLPA paid $3.87m to its officers in the year.
I can see some union leaders in the UK looking at those figures and dreaming.

| Everyone knows I'm no fan of Tebow but the more I think about the move the more I like it, Tebow is coming knowing he has no chance to be the #1 QB(he won't even be #2 on the depth chart) The circus that surrounds him won't be as big at New England because Belichick won't allow it but it will take away some of the attention on other players and allow them to get on with their jobs.
He will be getting payed peanuts with no guaranteed money probably, and who knows maybe we can use him in certain gimmicky situations if he manages to stay on the roster, which I can't see. Low risk high reward type of situation like Moss/Ochocinco/Lloyd/Fat Albert, he can't do any worse than the last 3 surely

The Patriots free agency decisions haven't been great since Pioli left foxborough.
