| There was an article by Manchester's favourite rent boy - Daniel Taylor - on The Guardian website yesterday that was pretty bang on. The line that got it was the way he described their defence of the Champions League.
It was awkward viewing from the outside, the club had just won the trophy it has craved for about ten years, they done it against all odds yet all you could feel was that Roman wanted rid of the coach. Much like when Mourinho was in charge, it didn't seem to matter what had happened in the past with RDM, the moment it went slightly wrong he was always going to get sacked. Last season, United never made it out of the group stages and nobody batted an eyelid. It was embarrassing that they couldn't get out of that group, but there was no knee jerking. For me, RDM could and should have been given the rest of the season to turn it around. Bringing in Rafa was a quite silly idea, partly because the fans don't like him, and partly because he doesn't shirk confrontation and will drag out the drama.

| Abramovich should just the obvious thing and be the Chelsea manager himself as that job is certainly not one that is very secure. Maybe he'll find another Special One I don't know.

If only we could be stable like QPR, right?
Since Abramovich bought the club we've had 10 managers. In that time QPR have had 17 managers, although TBF two of them were joint managers.

Not sure what QPR have to do with it, but in that time they've been relatively e. Chelsea have won numerous FA Cups and league cups. A few Premierships and the Champions League and STILL gone through 10 managers.

| Things are looking very rosy for Liverpool all of a sudden. Rodgers seems to have got Downing playing to a decent level again and Coutinho seems an inspired signing.

Wasn't really challenged today was he? I'd have scored a hat-trick against that defence.
He is a top player though, even if he is a cheating little two hat.

He can't stay at Liverpool can he? Another 18 months is a long time to wait for Champions League football. Bar Ronaldo and Falcoa, I can't think of many that are obviously better than him in this form. You've got to think the likes of Bayern, PSG or Madrid will be after him?

You'd expect so. I guess it all depends on how much he buys into the plan that Rodgers and LFC have.
I'd love him to leave tbh because I don't see what else they have other than him. As a Wigan fan I'm VERY annoyed that we've made a poor Liverpool side look good twice now, but in reality Suarez has murdered us.

| The thing is, just imagen how good he would be in a top team. If he's scoring 21 league goals for a team who are seventh and have lesser players just imagen how many he would score playing for Barca or Madrid. He is simply outstanding and for me the fourth best in the world behind Messi, Ronaldo and Falcao.
Holding on to him in the summer will be our biggest signing and I wouldn't stand in the way if he did want to leave. He deserves to be playing Champions League football.
