The two biggest football clubs in the world are Spanish, and have been performing at an amazingly high rate. Spain are the present World Cup holders and European Champions.
Very few people really give a toss about cycling. The authorities are allowed to bust that open wide. But blowing apart Spanish football to its core? The politicians don't want to be involved in that. FIFA and UEFA don't want that. So just like the racial abuse allegation against Messi, this will be swept under the carpet. |

Did they? Oops. He's not been great this season, but they shouldn't have booed him. Could have perhaps been the fact Moyes took a striker off for a centre back against a lower league side maybe that they were booing? |

TBH I was over with the booing of Benitez after his first game in charge.
But the recent press articles about him possibly getting the job permanently mean it is pretty much essential that he continues to get abuse. If the abuse dies down then our board are stupid enough to give him the job full time.
You lot wouldn't have put up with Benitez. Why we're supposed to accept him given the bad blood between us I don't know. |
