I watched the Redskins v Saints game last night. From what I've seen so far, Griffin has thrown a lot of short passes and screens. He's been impressive the way he's come in and played like he has straight away, but I'm not completely buying into the hype until I see him do it consistently and/or against a good defense. People are sometimes too quick to go overboard with the praise.

I rate Rg3 but he's looked very human today IMO. Officials were beyond awful in the 1st half. Mike Peraira was lead commentor

Isn't it funny what difference a coach makes. I kid you not when I tell you I've had conversations with people who say that a coach doesn't make that much difference. I know American football coaching involvement is probably more than any other sport but it's a maxim that goes across the board.

Definitely. I don't think this is a particularly good team but it's great to see us being competitive with what we have got. The attitude and vibe feels a lot different this season

I only watched bits of the game (was busy watching the Chargers make fun of those horrible, dirty Titans) but it looked a great game. It seemed to be kicking off after every play! Was the due to the officiating or a mean streak in the teams? I hate Fisher with a passion due to his teams antics in Tennessee, but if he gets you wins, you can't complain!

Fisher is an OK coach - lets face it his record is pretty much .500 plus and minus a few wins either way and there hasn't really been a departure from that.

There was definitely a sour feeling around the place after the Redskins were very fortunate with some of their calls leading to scoring plays for them and a TD not being given to Jackson. In the past I would have agreed re the antics but it seems so often that we've been on the receiving end of such tactics in the past, it's nice to see us as the bullies for once.
