I saw London Welsh play against Bristol a few weeks ago at their current ground, it really is embarrassingly tinpot. It seemed to be located in the middle of an open park or something. It's hard to believe that club could be in the Premiership!

I was pointing out that the RFU don't get paid anything from the attendance revenues of any of the Aviva clubs and that financially it makes no difference to them who is in the 12.
Why would I want to make that witty? |

New South Wales union side, the Waratahs have turned down the chance to play Scotland, during the Scots summer tour.
James Haskell has had a suspension for punching increased by the Super 15 blazers after lying about having a previously spotless disciplinary record.
Racist chants at the Spanish rugby union grand final. I doubt any action will be taken which makes it even more disgusting.
With regard to a club being promoted to the first division, the RFU and Premiership Rugby plan to issue a statement clarifying promotion before the two-legged final.

They best not breathe it too soon. London Welsh have submitted plans to the RFU for the use of four separate grounds that they say meet the minimum criteria if they win the Championship play-off final. |
