Anybody else like Widnes +40 tonight or just me? Warrington are resting a few of their key players, Monaghan, Westwood, Morley and maybe a few more. Added to the fact it's a local, it could be a carbon copy of the Wigan, except I still expect Wire to win so 40 could be a steal.

Also like Saints -4 on Good Friday, Wigan down to the bare bones in the front row withthe possibility of a few other of the big names Richards, McIlroum, Leuluai and Tomkins although I think the latter 2 will play. First new derby at Saints and theyre flying at the minute.

Akeed Mofeed is interesting. Hacked up on his second last start on good ground, before suffering an odds on defeat the next time on bottomless ground. Must be rated at home as they gave him to John Oxx and not Mick Channon

As for the 1000, I really like Discourse. A prep run would've been an advantage but by the sound of it she's heading straight there. Won her last start in really taking fashion.

Too early for Guineas talk, what I saw of last year's 2yos, except Camelot, they don't look upto much.

Had a look at monday's handicaps, and had to get the kleenex out when I saw that Warrington were giving the start over Catalans.
+8 and 2/1 off scratch in my book.

Just backed Flemenstar. If he jumps like he has the past few times then he should be home and dry. Think he'll be clear as they turn for home, only to see Call The Police coming strong on the bridle without producing much extra.

Think 11/10 is value on Flemenstar as he'd be odds in if trained by Mullins, Nicholls, Henderson, Meade or any of the other leading names.
