I think public pressure is going to force a change to football finances. It is just obscene at the moment. You have a tough economy where people are losing their jobs left, right and centre and yet the players are still ramping up their pay.
It annoys me a lot because football as an industry isn't profitable. The clubs lose hundreds of millions a year yet still claim the payments to players are justifiable. |
