| Looks like Shaun Ellis is signing for Pats, pretty disappointed Jets didnt offer him a better deal.

Yeah we have already signed him to a 1 year deal, good signing IMO and I'm sure his knowledge of the jesters defensive plays was another factor in us signing him!
He was drafted with the pick we gave up for Bill Belichick aswell, true story.

| What are people's thoughts on the new Total QBR system? To me it seems a simplier way of rating a quarterback's performance. The top four are Manning, Brady, Ryan and Rodgers(in that order). Way down towards the bottom of the list is Bears QB Jay Cutler.

Watched the SC special yesterday. Seems more effective but im not sure its any simpler than the passer rating. I suppose its a better way of judging them though as there is so much more to a good QBs game than passing these days. I like the fact that situational plays make a difference too.
Oh, and any rating that makes F5 the 6th best QB in the league is fine by me

| Quote ST_CONROY="ST_CONROY"NFC North is the strongest division in football.
I fancy it to finish:
1- Green Bay Packers (#1 NFC seed)
2- Detroit Lions (Wildcard)
3- Minnesota Vikings
4- Chicago Bears'"
What is your reasoning behind this prediction? The Packers being favourites is obvious.

| I'm going to wait until the end of pre-season to see who's injured before I do my season predictions but my suprise team to do a Kansas City this season and get to the playoffs when nobody expected is the 49ers.They're in a division that's not the hardest and I like what they've done in FA.With an ex QB as his head coach I think Smith will be this years Cassell and do enough to lead his team to the playoffs without being spectacular.Who are everybody else's suprise team this year?

| I know it wouldn't be a complete shock on the scale of the Chiefs last year because they only just missed out last year after a massive improvement but I can see the Rams doing well again and getting into the play-offs this year, still a wide open division!

When did "wide open" become a synonym for "garbage"?
