| I hope they sort it asap but this time of years always a bit tedious anyway with no news stories being made into news ie mendenhall's comments.
PS Isn't this thread a bit huge

| Sheffield Predators could be a good option as well, they look set for big things this season.

I want to try out, one of them things I think I'd regret if not and if I'm rubbish I wont be suprised either

If you're rubbish, don't stop. There isn't a team in the country who won't help one player achieve their potential, even if it involves moving positions to find where you're best suited to.
I swapped from RB to WR this year and haven't looked back. Seriously, the set up is better than people give credit because everyone there has the same passion and drive for the team to be successful.

Fully agree with you, good to see people play the game in this country but you wouldn't get someone on the cricket or football threads posting how their local sunday league team got on every week but we have to put up with the britball posts on here.

| To instigate some debate whose "side" are you on in the lockout?
Personally i'm 100% with the owners. As I understand they have agreed to all the rookie cap/extra cash for retired players etc but the key issue is the TV money. The owners want an extra $1 million(or it could be billion I can't remember) off the top before distributing the rest to the players in salary etc. The players as I understand don't want the owners getting the extra money. Err...Why? The owners are the ones who risk everything to run a business and they should get the profit.
The extra money wouldn't miraculously lead to a higher overall wage for players, it would just mean that the star players each get a couple of million more.
The longer the case lasts the more likely IMO the owners will win. They are united for the most part and have the money and patience to sit it out. The players will descend into disarray when the low earning players get tired of waiting and need the money, especially when it just seems like its going to benefit the top earners.
Facts are very limited at the minute but that seems to be the main argument, plus obviously I don't have very much knowledge of US Anti-trust law.
