Lockinge Stakes- Premio Loco 28/1 ew.
Has won or placed in 15 of his 24 races. Has a distinct preference for fast ground. His record over 7f-1m reads.
5,1,9,1,1,1,1,1,2,1,1,5,7,1,3,8,9.
When he has been rested for at least 5 weeks and throwing out his seasonal debuts, runs on soft ground and Meydan ( does not like the course), his record reads.
1,1,1,1,1,2,1,1,1,2.
He's run once in group1 class, finishing 3rd to Canford Cliffs and Rip Van Winkle in the Sussex. his style of racing ( held up) is very much suited to straight courses or courses with a long finishing straight, and if the rains stay away, 28/1 will look very silly, given his optimum conditions.

May just have a little bet on Dick Turpin today, he has a lot going for him. Ground should be fine and could be the one to side with. Canford Cliffs is a class act but may need the run. On the other hand, he could make the layers look silly.

Well that's me.. I know the yard thought a hell of a lot of him last year, he was actually beating Prohibit at home, however I think this is too far a step up in class from a maiden to a listed event on his seasonal reappearance especially against horses who have competed in breeders cup & meydan derby etc.

Was gonna back Drunken Sailor but decided to leave the race while I had another look at the Lockinge... won at 4s, not pleased with myself.
Having a fiver on Utley here, apparently well thought of by Gosden, stable in form.
Ran like a pig. Pulled hard and then had sod all.
