| Quote Rock 'n' Roll Star="Rock 'n' Roll Star"Frankel will win, there is very little doubt, and given that they have half an eye on a possible Guineas and Derby double, they will stretch him out to the finish to see what he has to offer right up to the mile, with a view to gauging how he might handle further in the Derby. Therefore, it suggests to me that the >3 Lengths winning distance is a great bet, specially at the 3's skybet are offering.
Additionally to that, and do tell all your friends, I think we might have seen the winner of The Oaks tonight, go and delight yourselves by the run of Wonder of Wonders in the 8:25 at Tipperary. Currently you can get 25's with skybet, but the bookies that have picked up on the run, and have shortened to 12's in places.
And as a final passing shot, Hooray will also win the 1000 Guineas on Sunday.'"
Awesome, awesome, awesome stuff from Frankel, he is the best horse ever, simples.
From the same connections that gave us arizona jewel (cecils winner the other day in a maiden) and the same one as the Hooray winner tomorrow, we were given once tonight at Doncaster, called Old Hundred which won fairly easy. It seems connections are red hot at Newmarket, so get into Hooray at all costs. I will be after Frankel paid for a few good bets in the next few days, and to all those that took frankel at 3 lengths and beyond.... what a stunning bet. Never in doubt even after a couple of furlongs in.
Enjoy

| Newmarket 17:35 Barbican 7/2
Won first 2 races including beating Dorcas Lane who goes in the listed race before this, Barbican was tried in a Group 3 Classic trial last weekend against some highly rated types coming 4th stays on its mark of 88 though in a race alot easier.

| Morning everyone..
A quality card today but indeed a competitive card as one would expect on 1000gns day and therefore small stakes are advised.
2:05 Newm - Life and Soul e/w at best price of 11/1, This Amanda Perrett 4yr old had some decent form last year placing in some good races, whilst also winning at ascot. Has gone well fresh before e/w chance
2:35 Newm - The next is a group 3 fillies stakes.. The stoute yard has won this for the last four years and they have another principal contender in Eleanora Duse came 3rd in Musidora 3rd in oaks won a listed and a group 2 and must have a great chance here.. I have always been a big fan of Crystal Gal who is now in the hands of Lucy Wadham having been sold for 150,000gns will stay and has a chance at big price of 20/1
3:15 Newm - The 1000gns has something to live upto if they want to come anywhere close to repeating the spectacle that Frankel provided on 2000gns day.. I must admit to having ante-post wagers on Maqaasid last yr and Cape Dollar who both have chances, Cape Dollar will be the better of the two having been given imo a poor ride last time out and will need all of the mile, Havant would imo prefer softer ground but on her form last year must have a great chance, Richard Hughes has indeed been bullish about memory's prospect, Coeus who came 2nd yesterday at Newmarket showed up well and she has been working with Hooray from Sir Mark Prescott's yard who will imo find 1 or 2 too good. If I hadn't of had my AP bets, I'd be going with the Jessica Harrington trained Laughing Lashes @ 14/1 who is a massive filly doing well on all 4 starts last year over 7furlongs will improve with the step up to a mile, is the forgotten horse in this race imo and will run a big race.
3:50 Newm - A rediculous handicap one which im not going to delve deeply in the form of all the runners.. I've a sneaky feeling that the winner will come from a low draw and two im interested in today is Andrew Baldings Fireback (8) @ 18/1 and Ed Walker trained DrawnFromThePast (2) @ 25/1 these two both can run well fresh is imo well handicapped with decent jockeys on board in the shape of Martin Dwyer & David Probert
4:25 Newm - Can't see past Tell Dad
5:00 Newm - Izzi Top (NAP) will find this straight course much easier than Windsor where she didn't handle the bend, subsequently the bit slipped over 5fl out.. She was very green also on this start and she will have learnt alot from this run, having to come from the rail, then had to move wide and get through a few gaps and I think this John Gosden trained 3yr old filly has a lot more to give now upped in trip.
5:35 Newm - Barbican races off an 8lb lower mark here as in future races he will race of 96 as opposed to 88 this 3yr old gelding out of Hurricane Run has had 3 runs so far this year and is improving with each run, which accumlated with a 4th place in the Sandown Classic trial where Genuis Beast won (7 lenghts away from the selection) and will now be going towards the derby via dante most likely, Measuring Team and Auld Burns came 2nd and 3rd good form. The fav Art History won last time out and has been raised 5lb however this runner would not have won if Glencadam Gold had not fluffed up the start and therefore Barbican is the selection.
Good Luck All

| Nice write up Richie.
south Wales +28 is my main 1 today.
Regarding Frankel, imo, it would be suicidal of Cecil to run him in the Dante;
1/ will be surprised if he stays
2/ he reached his pinnacle yesterday
3/ will be his 3rd race in 25 days.
Will be reaching for the lay button, no matter who turns up against him.

| I was a bit taken aback by Jim McGraths comments on Channel4 racing yesterday.
He was very critical of the Frankel tactics and said it would be detrimental to its future racing career.
Utter baloney for me. Cecil/Queally got it spot on. Speed to burn, and has pulled when held up in the past.
Did it really have as hard a race as McGrath opined?
Whether it stays the mile and a half is a totally different kettle of fish though.
I'd be tempted to try the mile and a quarter of the Dante if I was a connection.
If it doesn't suit, Henry can bring it back to a mile for Royal Ascot.

| With Our Jonathan being NR had a go on another.
Silaah @ 16/1 EW 5 places
Would have a massive chance off 91 if taking its AW form to turf, was poor last time out and never in it before that though it did well enough at Meydan and here on too, beat by a head in a class 1 by Anne Of Kiev who wasn't beaten by much in a hot class 1 at Newmarket next time out

Had a few group 1 winners up against, and at the price thought it was worth a cheap lay.
