I'll reserve judgement til i see it later, but if it''s as bad as is being made out, you have to wonder about integrity of officials, would they have given it if it wasn't Chelsea or a big 4 club?

Hilarious Gomez makes me want to hand in my goal keepers union card.

I can see this being Gomes's last season as Spurs first choice goalkeeper. He can be brilliant at times but he has far too many brain freezes for a club that wants to be in the Champions League.

Poor, very poor decision but they happen.

When the going gets tough for [iChelsea[/i, they consistently gets massively favourable decisions from refs.

I see the FA are still doing all they can to make the title race more interesting. What a pair of massive balls ups from the ref and linesman. Utter bollox, one you can put down to luck. Two is a bit dodgy.

The ball definitely didn't cross the line, but IMO ONLY video technology will ever sort that out.

The Chelsea players and fans would have been 100% convinced that it went over. The Tottenham players and fans would have been 100% convinced it didn't.

The lino has to make a massive judgement from 40 yards away while trying desperately to get into position to see it.

The lino guessed, and he guessed wrong.

But it still wasn't as awful a **** up as Gomes made. What a dreadful goalkeeper.







The offside was again a tough decision, and wrong.

But like Man Utd with the penalty decision and lack of red card for Evra at SB in the CL, we'll take those decisions and say thanks very much.

I thought our second half was ridiculous. It was as though we were embarrassed about the nature of the goal and didn't want to compound the refs error by taking all three points. But thankfully we were just getting the salt delivered.



Not really sure about the pen. He looked as though he might have glanced a touch on the ball, but he seemed to make plenty of contact with the player beforehand and a glancing touch doesn't negate that. Thought the ref might have been evening things out by not giving that.

Not that I think Arsenal will win tomorrow, but if they did, then Fergie and his assistants in the press will be working all week to convince the world that Chelsea have had every decision their way for the last 50 years and Man United have had every decision against them in that time.

And the Man Utd fans and the neutrals will believe it.

Benitez failed to deliver what every Liverpool fan wants which is the Premiership. He only looked close to winning it in 09 and infact if it wasnt for his pathetic outburst in that January (about Manchester United getting special treatment from the FA plus slagging Alex Ferguson off) he most probably would have won it. Benitez allways took the bait dangled infront of him. You say look at the players he signed well to be quiet honest most of his signings for Liverpool where woeful with the exception of Fernando Torres from Atheltico Madrid and Alonso. You cant be telling me Benitez is a good manager because quite frankly his record in England especially going for the Premiership was woeful and he turned Inter Milan into a second rate team overnight after Jose Mourinho guided them to the treble only months before. Benitez tactics are ok in Spain he has won Championships and The Uefa Cup but his record out of Spain is ordinary at best.

Benitez is an excellent manager.

I don't think he's up there right at the top, but he's not far behind.

His lack of success in bringing the PL to Liverpool was down to Chelsea and Manchester United being at a pretty much unmatchable standard when given the resources Benitez had at Liverpool.

Liverpool probably should have won the title given the position they were in, but I don't think it's completely down to Benitez that they didn't. I think being involved in title challenges is a difficult thing for players to adjust to and it is rare that sides will win at their first real attempt.

One of the biggest criticisms of Benitez is that they didn't kick on from there, but instead collapsed.
