Didn't know about Sadlers Wells.
He must have made millions for connections.
The greatest ever European sire. I'll add Galileo (Frankels daddy by the way), Montjeu and High Chapparal to your list.

3/1 where is that? Cracking price ill be going for 5l+ I reckon.'"
George Washington won by 2 and 1/2 lengths.
Dancing Brave by 3.
Zafonic by 3 and 1/2.
Is Frankel as good as these? Though even if he's not, he's not got much to beat by the look of things...

| TBH, I think Frankel should win but can see something challenging him.
Pathfork was very impressive also at two, and the Harringtons rate him very highly. Wouldn't be a surprise to see something from the O'Brien yard to have trained on well, and Native Khan looked to have plenty more improvement to come after still looking very babyish when winning the other week. Casamento seems the forgotten horse, who was the last Racing Post Trophy winner to run in the Guineas and be such a big price?
I don't think he is in the same bracket as Frankel, but Dubawi Gold has looked a much improved horse this year. Dods always rated him and he seems to be going the right way under Richard Hannon. Will definitely be race fit after two good wins (not beat much but has done it very assertively) and is a massive price.

| Dubawi Gold? Done well so far but not for me and your right is a big price, at a bigger price Happy Today could be my 50p e/w complete outsider bet but well be better over further too, got a big race in it.
Casamento more a derby horse imo, Pathfork been beaten already by Frankel and Cecil's mount is match fit. Native Khan will be much better over further so will get done for toe.
This games all about opinions, but mine is Frankel will not get beat. !

I think Frankel has the potential to be better than both George (never lived up to the hype) and Zafonic (brilliant 2 year old, and superb Guineas winner, but that was his lot).
Whether he can ever match the brilliance of Dancing Brave (the greatest imo) will depend on how he fares on Saturday.
And if victorious whether he goes on to stay the mile and a half.

Pathfork hasn't ever raced Frankel - they're both unbeaten.
Racing Post Trophy winners have a god-awful record in the Guineas, which may explain Casamento's longish price - however, based on their National Stakes running, I can't see why it's more than twice Pathfork's odds. A strict line through Glor Na Mara's run in this race and the Dewhurst gives Frankel 5 lengths or so to make up on these two...
If, and it's admittedly quite a big if, you excuse Saamidd's Dewhurst performance, where it ran no sort of race, then 20/1 looks a decent price.
Having said all that, it's my opinion too that they're all running for place money at best. Frankel by a long-looking 3 lengths (avoiding the over 3 lengths pay-out ) for me.
