| Only one thing worse than losing to Citeh & that's having to share a coach back with sweaty Wanderers fans as we speak! Has running water not reached that part of Lancashire yet? Must be these guys that put the B.O in Bolton
Caught 2nd half of the dippers match earlier and wondered when they actually signed up half the Croxteth Crew to their playing squad.... was like watching an episode of Crimewatch!

Splendid work by the London press
best player (Kompany) didn't even get a nomination
Tevez has done precious little in the last 2 months (but fantastic before)

The cameras are always on the managers when they shake hands so he must have known.
2 matches automatic, guaranteed. I expect we'll see it tomorrow in the news.

It's funny how liverpool are getting it now but couldn't get their head around "fergie time" when united benefitted from similar circumstances.

With the amount of whining Man United fans are getting up to, I'm beginning to think that Wenger should take over at OT when Fergie retires.

| Quote Lord Tony Smith="Lord Tony Smith"He's King Kenny, he can say what he wants.
A good result for us today, given the late goal at the end by Arsenal, we didn't let our heads go down and kept on fighting. I was even more pleased that we defended so well given our 'injuiry crisis' if you like, a 17 year-old and an 18 year-old either side in defence, and then the injuiry to Carra. Well done Liverpool, now hurry up and give Kenny a contract before he changes his mind!'"
I totally agree, get it signed. I;m guessing alot of the premiership want him to sign it as well.

| God bless Liverpool for ending a horrid footballing weekend on a high. They were on the back foot for large parts of the 2nd half but they deserved a point I thought. I turned it off when the Arsenal penalty was given. Superb mental strength from Liverpool to grab a point, something Arsenal lack.
People can't have it both ways about Liverpool. If their squad is as crap as many believe, then Dalglish is doing a good job. In the alternative, they must have better players than many thought. Both cannot be true. I suspect, as always, the truth is somewhere in the middle. I don't think he is the long term answer but Dalglish has done a much better job than I expected him to do (not that my opinion means jack but you take my point).
As for the semi final, well, the best team won that game. I can't remember the last time I saw a team so energised by a goal, it's as if something finally clicked and they realised they could actually go on and win it. Would have been different had Berbatov scored but he didn't. It will be interesting to see how city move on from here but naturally I hope Stoke repeat yesterday's heroics and smash them in the final.
Finally, what Ferdinand is doing messing about with Ballotelli is anybody's guess. Yes, he is a complete Joey Barton but why on earth give him the satisfaction? Let him play with his shirt and look forward to a title run in and a Champions League semi final. You've got to take that stuff on the chin really, especially when United have dished that stuff out in the past.

Stoke took their chances, we barely created one ... can't really have any complaints.

| Fergie blew it for me, don't know why he never picked 2 up front like he did against Chelsea. Both sides were poor I thought, Berba should have scored but in the end they took a chance and we never.
Good result for us yesterday at the Emirates though. Big week ahead, Utd won't have it easy at Newcastle and Arsenal play at Spurs.
Bale as PFA player of the year, apart from the two Inter games what has he done?
