Results took a while to come out then, what happened?

Hmmmm... I placed a £1 bet yesterday on a SkyBet special (advertised on their homepage), which clearly stated Suarez to score ANYTIME and a 2-0 result at 50/1. However my account isn't showing £51 returns.

I just did an online chat with their support staff and they're saying they never offered such a bet, and say that I placed the bet with Suarez to score FIRST.

Cheeky buggers, I know what I saw!

I would check the bet details in your account history and see what it says in black & white.

There is a fair chance the 2011 Greyhound Derby winner will be running on Sky tonight and at current odds and the way the dog is improving Rayvin Neasa at 66/1 with Ladbrokes looks well worth a few quid. Currently the kennels 4th or 5th string he could well jump up the pecking order ahead of Jordansoilutions and Bandicoot Tapoki and if he can produce his recent trial under race conditions he will be a very exciting dog to follow.

What A Friend is certainly interesting for the Grand National. Will run off 156, but has been raised to 171 for the future. Has Aintree form, is a fairly decent sort, and has good ground form in a quickly ran race.
Tidal Bay is probably the classiest horse in the race (on a good day) and wouldn't be surprised to see him staying on at a price.
All depends on the final cut, weights etc.


Last year I went for horses with form over long distances, or on testing ground. The real slogger types that shoulda been staying all day, yet just turned out to be below standard. Only horse I got any money back from was State Of Play placing. Been reading the RP Betting On Horses guide this week just to see what its like as a book. Shame I didn't pick it up a few weeks ago, the Tom Segal festivals section is worth buying on its own.

Was told to back it for the Champion bumper before its first run (backed at 4/6 went off 2/5 won easily) as it would hack up, it did and came in 18s for the big one but they pulled it out of that and a number of other races since, looks like Mccain has found a nice race for it.

Wonder if the ground was too fast today? Seemed to hack up on soft/heavy, yet was faced with gd, gd-firm plces today.
