I've picked out Frankie Figg tomorrow in't 2.10 @ Wetherby.

Interesting how much Ffos Las could pee on Sandown's Champion Hurdle trial in future.

The Sandown trial is worth about 9k to the winner, the Welsh Champion Hurdle closer to 30k. Both on same day, same distance.

The Scilly Isles Novice Chase looks very hot at Sandown. Could go to any of half a dozen.

7 quid on Arsenal, Spurs and Man City in the football.

5 quid on Moose Moran, Binocular, Oscar Whisky and Sprinter Sacre for the horses. All four are Nicky Henderson horses, two at Ffos Las, and two at Sandown.
Binocular and Oscar Whisky are surely 'name your distance' jobs. Sprinter Sacre is thought of as a top prospect by all at the yard by all accounts, and Moose Moran was useful on the flat for Henry Cecil and should take all the beating if taking to hurdles first time. He's sure to have been well schooled by the king of hurdlers.

Hoping all can justify their cramped odds and give me some coins back!

Couldn't pick in the 2.25 between Captain Chris, Medermit or Nadiya De La Vega.

Captain Chris is well fancied in the RP, Price Wise selection too. Hobbs rates him as better than Wishful Thinking, which won well at Cheltenham last Saturday.
Medermit was just short of top class over hurdles and should make a good chaser.
Nadiya De La Vega is game as they come, nothing was gonna stop her winning at Kempton LTO. This demands more but her allowance and courage will definitely count for a lot.

Moose Moran is being thrown into these hurdles... Might have worked throwing Master Minded at the fences when he was labouring at Ascot the other week, but I don't think aggressively riding a horse into hurdles on his hurdling debut would be the best strategy from Mr McCoy.

Wasn't a great first run over obstacles, wouldn't give up with it yet. Looks like the one to blow my acca though.

Sprinter Sacre wins easily.

Two sucessful lines on the footy last week along with a duff horse choice, so we'll leave the horses this week and go for:-

Very impressive ... as opposed to Binocular who again made hard work of winning the Contenders Hurdle.

Binocular can be lazy though, a good race will bring the best out of him. Like Hurricane Fly, the stronger the gallop, the faster they jump, the better he goes.
Today was a muddling little race, he maybe didn't jump as well as usual.
