Sorry to big graeme for not noticing the front page news about Keys and Gray burried down here in the bowels of the site

Given the current going rate for quality midfielders and strikers, Liverpool's offers are derisory, designed solely to turn the player's head, it smacks of arrogance and by no means are Liverpool the only club guilty of this. I am an admirer of small clubs punching above their weight, making the most of meagre resources and 'bigger' clubs who bid for their star players should give them the proper market value instead of trying to get them on the cheap or turn the players' head.

I just think Liverpool are scared to death of finishing below likkle old Blackpool so there buying the competition. As if Charlie Adam will get played every week at Liverpool anyway

he does seem to be becoming something of a caricature of himself, I think the thing that has really hacked them off is the press knowing about Adam banging in his request virtually as soon as it happened, which they appear to be pointing the finger in liverpools direction.

Obviously liverpool want to sign players as cheaply as possible, Blackpool (and Ajax) want as much as possible, that's business, and the end point will depend upon the needs of the respective clubs to reach a deal.

It really is, I'm glad I am not the only one thinking it. At first he was quite good as it was different and as a manager of a smaller club he wasn't prepared to be pushed into the background but now it's just boring. From never seeing him on TV he seems to have become some sort of expert on everything and everyone.

I'm now wondering what Sky's agenda is in regard to this. The original comments weren't broadcast, so it's come from an insider and the video of Gray and Burton adds nothing to the issue, the comments from Burton are nothing, so why has he been suspended? Why have Sky released that footage apart from attempting to embarrass Gray further? Any coincidence that Gray is threatening to sue the NOTW?

Both men have been revealed to have outdated and somewhat odious opinions in regard to women in football, they haven't attempted to force them on anyone, others have broadcast them. I'd be surprised to find that they are alone in their opinions, especially amongst 50+ year old men. An apology to the her should be enough. In fact I find the newspapers urge to find pictures of Ms Massey looking like a fruity young lady to put on their front pages just as distasteful, if not moreso.

Gray sacked

Talksport have just said Gray has been sacked by Sky for an off air comment said last December and not the most recent comments.

interesting that they reference December, and I wonder what will happen with Keys

If they've sacked Gray, surely that means Keys must go too? On these latest comments it's key, IMO, who is the worst offender.

If it's going back to comments in December, why not sack him then?
