Quote: Dan_FC "He also only signed for Monaco in the summer so it does make you wonder why they're prepared to ship him out on loan for a million already already. Your first paragraph is spot on for me, Pienaar's been miles ahead of Arteta this season yet we coudn't get anywhere near his wages for Pienaar. The Yakubu one baffles me completely, as you say given a run of games he'll score goals, as he's proved since he's been in England. His two best games since he came back from injury were Liverpool and Stoke and then he was dropped. It's a complete fook up by Moyes, for me.'"

A goal every 4 games is not "he'll score goals". PLus, if you have a strike rate as poor as this, youd at least better have a massive worth ethic, something the lazy lump doesnt have. A shocking player who has found his level at Leicester. Waste of a shirt at Everton.

Quote: Robbie Rotten "No VDV?'"

Ah balls, forgot about him, probably because of how poor he was yesterday and how he spent 90% of the game rolling around on the floor/complaining to the referee.

Struggling who to drop for him - will have to be Cahill I think.

I would mate, as good and as important Cahill is VDV is having an outstanding season and belongs in every team of the season so far.

Quote: Nikaed "How City didn't that game with ease is beyond me. Decent result for us today. Managed to give Rio a rest as well. Blackpool will be a tough test tuesday as it'll be the biggest game of their season. Could be a trap game.'"

Yep I reckon the Blackpool game will be a tough one, win it though and we are decent shape. Played some lovely stuff yesterday, Berba got the goals but I thought Rooney also looked good.

On the 2nd of January the families of those who died during the Ibrox stadium disaster 40 years ago took part in a special memorial service to mark the the tragedy which happened at the end of 1971's Old Firm derby, when 66 people were crushed to death on a stairway leading from the Copland Road end of the ground. My first thought was wow 66 dead, how come I have never heard about this event before? Then I realised why... It didn't happen in Liverpool.
