I thought one of Mark Hughes' mistakes was to try to play attacking football before establishing a solid base. For me the most frustrating City match I've seen in recent years was the 3-3 draw with Burnley. So I dont have a problem with Mancini's safety first approach, providing it works. At the moment we're neither fish nor fowl. We're playing cautiously but we're not yet the type of team that makes you feel confident that we will pick up 1-0 or 2-0 victories away from home.

But our worst performance this season was at Wolves when Mancini played his most attacking line up so I'd actually prefer to get back to basics next week.

bit of a over reaction here. Yes we have lost the last 3 game the nal game would of been a complete diffrent story but for the sending off. The wolves game very very poor and thats the only time this season mancini got it really wrong for me. Not many teams would have got a result over in poland this week. I liken it too Turf Moor very intimadating place too play as well as having only 2 first teamers in i wasnt too bothered. Obviosly wanted a win and was dissapointed but i dont understand the bagging of mancini tbh he inherited quite a lot of rubbish hes god a good system going now may not be flashy football but upto now has been a winning system were 4th in the league with the derby coming up which i think we will win. The media just want us too fail and other fans do and no its seem that our fans are listening too the Mancini is the man for me. It's a big week this week isn't it, I was saying this coming away from Blackpool today it's a chance to really pick some points up having three games in the week but for you it's really big. West Brom tomorrow which you'd be expected to win and a Manchester derby which is still up for debate for me. 4 or 6 points and it gets you back on track but anything less and you are playing catch up. Big missed chance for us today and it makes out two homes games against Bolton and Arsenal even bigger this week.



Without seeing you in full every week I'd say you've got a great chance of top 4 at least, Spurs are still really hit and miss and the more they progress in CL the tougher it becomes, they missed VDV badly today by the sounds of it. I'm still not convinced by them at all and for me you're a much better team to make the top four this season. I'd like to think we can push around 5th/6th but we're prob a bit of quality short of a top 4 finish. I just can't see anyone else at the minute who will be good enough to finish top four other than yourselves.

Much needed win for Rovers today,we've played a lot better in games this season and got nothing.It shows how close the bottom 16 teams are this season that with 1 win we've gone from the relegation zone to being a win away from a european place.

Do I back Latics to stop up now or do I greedily wait till after the Liverpool game and hope another defeat will give me even better odds on them staying up?

As I've said since the summer, Latics will stop up. What do you reckon Conroy, take evens now or wait till after the Liverpool game for a slightly better price? Reckon they might be up to around 2.25 or 2.38 if they lose to the bindippers.
