I don't feel sorry for Ferrari...but i do have a bit of sympathy for Alonso'"
Would Alonso be kicking up such a fuss if it was any other driver than Hamilton? Probably not, he would still whine but not to the same extent as a child that doesn't get their own way. I think he's still bitter at how he was out driven and outsmarted by a "rookie" driver.

I hope Damon Hill isn't trying to put the muckers on Lewis and Jenson before their home race, as if us Brits haven't had enough pain this sporting summer and what we could all dearly do with is a McLaren one-two at Silverstone, whichever order I don't care.

Oh lord I hope they can do it for us. I dream about it every day. If our brave boys pull it off I can only imagine the homecoming celebrations will be like in Monaco and Switzerland.

Irrespective of the current residences of their drivers, McLaren is a British team and their primary competition this weekend is coming from an Austrian team with drivers from Germany and Australia (two of England's biggest sporting adversaries).

It could do with livening up as it's not exactly Prost v Senna.

Indeed, after all it is the constructors championship that Button and Hamilton are driving to win.

| You would think that Ferrari could come up with a better way of telling it's driver to let a teamate past than just saying he's faster than you.It was obvious what they were telling him to do,it also didn't help that Massa's race engineer said sorry to him on the radio after it happened.
With Jean Todt now head of the FIA i can't see anything more than the fine they got being the outcome, maybe a team not called Ferrari would get a points deduction.

Did McLaren get one when Kovaleinen moved over for Hamilton at this very track the season before last?
Will they get one for telling Button simply to defend his place from an early stage today, and not try to race his team-mate in front of him?
What about Red Bull taking part of a car from one driver and giving it to another last time out?
Ferrari did what was best to maximise their chances of winning both championships come the seasons end, it was no surprise that all the drivers/former drivers on the coverage basically agreed that it was the right thing for them to do, hearing Christian Horner complain about it given the Vettell/Webber shenanigans we've already had this season was laughable.
