I cannot believe You truly think Zidane was anywhere near as good as Titus Bramble is

I tell you what, I've a lot of time for Titus Bramble. I actually think he's a good defender. I think he's one of these unlucky sods that every time he makes an error it gets punished. He never gets the chance to just put his hand up and say sorry, and play moves away, it's always in the back of the net with him looking up at the heavens with a gormlous expression planted on his face.

99% of the time I think he's a quality defender, it's the 1%, those lapses that've got him that reputation for being a blurt.

I honestly can't see where or how Van Nistlerooy would improve Liverpool from January. The guys now 33 and spends more time on the physio table than on the pitch thesedays and with Ngog improving with the run of games he's had why bring in another striker? Unless you think Rafa would change his formation and go with two strikers? Personally i can't see it.

imo Liverpool main problem is the lack of genuine width with players like Kuyt and Riera (couldn't even make an impact at City) also the obsession with playing two holding midfielders hurts the team going forward with Lucas and Mascarano playing so deep it leaves Gerrard on his own to try and link up with Torres. Maybe Aquilani can fill that gap in midfield but can he be kept fit long enough to get a run of games to strike up a partnership with Gerrard?

If your drawing, yeh play a rematch or if a teams winning by 1. But being 3 up I think the ref should be able to say match result will stand. Now barnsley and fans have got to make the long journey back down to Plymouth where they wont be in for a scoreline like that again.
