Cutler had a fun game it seems.

Mwa ha ha ha. I must admit it is fun to see. I just wish he was throwing 5 interceptions for Denver!

I've not really kept up to date on the Bears this year. Who's Jay blaming? Management? Receivers? O Line? There's one thing for sure, it won't be his fault.

To be fair I would say at least 2 of them were not his fault but the others definately were, on 1 of them Devin Hester tried to use the umpire as a shield and proceded to run into the back of him hence creating an interception

. and another one was definate pass interference by the CB/Safety on Greg Olsen as he was going to catch the ball, I think it may have been Mark Roman who basically just knocked him out of the way about 20 yards past the line of scrimmage

The others however were just terrible forced passes and he just threw the ball in the air on other occasions instead of throwing out of bounds so he could have had more!

To be honest it wasnt a very good game but Chicago still had a chance to win until he was intercepted in the end-zone with about 1 second to go.

I like Singeltarys coaching style he just shouts at people for doing something wrong and they never learn, he will go far

WOW Cutler was bad.

He's got his team to play far better than i expected with a very good D and has somehow managed to trade for a better QB and draft picks.

Everybody has bad games mate. It could be worse, he could have thrown 3 picks against one of the leagues worst pass defences and get beaten by a rookie quarteback.

San Fran's D isn't much better than Tampa statistically. (Passing Tampa are dead last but San Fran are 20th)

Jay has thrown more interceptions (17) than TD's (14) and has thrown for more INT's than Manning, Brady, Roethlisberger, Rodgers, Rivers, Romo, Warner, Favre have thrown TD's. Actually he has thrown more INT's than TD's compared every QB other than Schaub and Brees who are tied with him with 17.

Also Cutler has been getting significantly worse QB ratings while increasing INT's each year.


As i said, with a better line and a better RB Cutler is worse. Rodgers >>> Cutler.

Freeman> Rodgers. Tampas D is just 12 places better then.

I find it amusing that you use his INT stat as a way to put him down when your love interest Favre has career numbers in this category. Favre has had seasons when he has thrown alot of picks.

Yes 12 places, the difference is only just over a yard.

3 picks is indeed bad, with the worst offensive line in the NFL he still only has 5 picks on the season and is in the top 5 (performance wise) QB's.

Favre has put in alot of INT's. I've never denied that, oh and he isn't my love interest. In his last season with us [uHE[/u cost us the place in the SB with a stupid pass that was picked off by NYG.

By the same token he has thrown a number of ridiculously good passes that should be picked off and aren't and he won us games single handedly so i can forgive him for the INT's.

Cutler hasn't yet shown he is as good. Last year for example they needed one win from three to make the play-offs and they blew it. His passer rating has gone down each year. (88.5, 88.1, 86.0, 76.0) while his interceptions have increased each year (5, 14, 18, 17) I think it is safe to assume he'll throw one or two more picks before the season ends.

Two red zone INT's in the San Fran game, even if they only got FG they would have won 12-10. I have seen the Bears twice this year and each time Cutler has cost them the game and thrown 4 or 5 picks (can't remember if it was 4 or 5 versus us). The San Fran game and the first game of the year against us.
