His lap times after Webber got past him certainly didn't tail off, and he comfortably held on to second place. Hardly indicative of a car that was holding Webber up on the track.
I see Bernie's been opening his gob again. Apparently Europe is no longer F1's spiritual home, despite it being where all the teams are based. He sees western Europe having maybe only five races in future calendars, replaced by the likes of South Africa, Russia and Mexico.
So look forward to more races with no fans in the stands on identikit Tilke tracks full of sweeping corners, long straights and perpetual boredom.
