i think it is typical of how the French see RL generally. They have done everything they can over the years to stop RL being played, and this is just another way to prevent any type of growth or succes of RL in France IMO
its a little like this country, but worse, as we at least get a column 5 pages back in the sports section that you cant see amongst the adds
