| Without going over the top I can’t help feeling we have been here before in 2006. WCC has gone, you can no doubt write off the League Leaders shield even at this point in the season. Top five playoffs? We look way off that at the moment.
We are very beatable at the moment, yet again the half time team talk had no effect and we concede straight after.
It’s going to be a long season.

| We’re in total limbo as feared with this ridiculous interim coach plan. In my mind Edwards is giving us the perfect opportunity to dump it and sort something more long term.

There’s only one man to blame for that and it isn’t Edwards. As awful as we are under Lam I think I’d be happier if he was offered a 3 year contract. At least we would know where we stand.

I’ve been unhappy with the arrangement from the off and just couldn’t see how things could go well this year. To lose your two best players and your coach and react to that by appointing a temporary coach and signing players of a lesser standing always looked like suicide.

Strange, isn’t it? IL has by and large got it right but this is looking like a right balls up atm.

| Trimming the wage bill by half a million quid (allegedly) this season was always going to mean a struggle.

| transition season , you cant win them all , Wigan will be there or there abouts by the end of the season but probably not good enough to win it . As a neutral you are really suffering the loss of
ST ( even though he was going downhill)
Bateman
Tommy isn't good enough
Escare isn't good enough
lack of good quality players like MM to fill in .
GW is more of a icing the cake player , looks really good in a good side , but just doesn't pull the side together when struggling, I would cash in on him and bring in a good half back partnership, need to bring a new good pair of halfbacks and hooker through the ranks .

| If this is a transition year then I can accept that, we have just come through a relatively successful period where whe have been in or around the trophys for a good few years. A year around mid table is no great shame as long as there are plans in place to get us back up to the front in the years to come.
What worries me is keeping hearing the likes of Rads stating that we are spending up to the cap, its feels an awful lot like a cop out to hide the fact that we are cutting back on our wage bill. Looking at the talent in our squad I'm finding it difficult to see where that money is being spent. We are either paying some players more than they are worth, which for me is poor management or we are hiding behind the cap to excuse the lack of recruitment.

It was Kris Radlinski's idea to bring Adrian Lam in. Lenagan's to wait until 2020 for Edwards.
I'm not convinced the one year contract for Lam is having a significant impact on performance. Losing Wane and Bitcon along with apathy after a GF win and WCC are likely the main factors. Plus injuries, inadequate recruitment and a coach with little to no head coach experience.

Agreed,Lam is on a hiding to nothing with this stupid plan I mean other than Lenegan who really thought this was going to be a grandstand winner of an idea?
I know I didn’t
