| Given the stick he has had, some of it deserved some not, I think he deserves his own thread. Thought he was great tonight.
Can't think of any errors. Good decisions made with ball in hand when to go down and find the floor quickly and drive on depending on support and field position and his defence was outstanding. Eye catching stuff and the less eye catching stuff in defence was great to see.

There was one error, early in the second half he knocked on close to our own line and put us under pressure for a few sets. I agree though, good performance overall which is nice to see after the criticism he's received lately.

| His best performance so far IMO. Maybe I should slag him off more often.

| Sorry one half decent game in 14 or 15 ain't good enough.
I think he is average at best and if we had more cover I'd let him go tomorrow.
Another Southsea islander who all puff and zero substance.
A waste of salary cap and I hope we concentrate going forward on young Wells and Field who have more aggression than FPN can ever have unless his Mrs tells him differently

| Looked more like the guy from the end of last season tonight. I wonder whether it's motivation with him given that his big performances have been the Super 8s and a Saints derby. More of that Frank!

Yeah, I'm with Itchy on this. Half-decent performance, with one bad error which could have cost us, but overall he's shown very little, and precious few reasons why he should be selected above Field, Wells, Navarrete, etc. Which, for an international prop with plenty of NRL experience, is pretty poor.

| I think he's been bagged unfairly at points when he's been 'ok' and I again thought he was 'ok' tonight. He was probably just on the better side of ok tonight in comparison to some weeks when he's maybe been on the wrong side of it but ultimately I still feel as though he's got lots to give yet he's never been as bad as people made out.
The big pluses tonight for me where Wells and Field. They both look like natural first teamers and again the squad just gets bigger and better.

Yep, I agree. FPN and Joel Tomkins have had a bit of unfair flack this season in my view.
To salvage this season, I think we need some 3/4s back in the ranks. Isa should never set foot in the centre ever again (bless him for trying)! If Sam or Escare play tonight we probably win that game. They scored 3 tries from kicks! Tierney tries hard but for me falls a bit short.

Agree Wells and Field look like great potential and I'm really hopeful we could have a couple good lads there.
FPN will be a top earner and experienced pro who should be leading the way problem is he can't or maybe can't be d. Apart from one break at Warrington last year his input has been below average and his minutes lamentable.
The guy is earning top dollar so I expect top payback. If he was on £20k a year like the kids I'd say ok but he will be on £100k or so so I expect more than 30 minutes a game with infrequent and ineffective drives.
Wrecking Ball my .

| iI'd prefer it if we used him as an impact player, but given our injury situation thats impossible at the moment.
Minus the brain farts he can be quite useful.

| I'm not giving up on him just yet,I thought he was quality last year seeing as he came to us having not played for 3 months. I like everyone thought with a full pre season he would smash it this year and it's not quite happened but under Wane our props seem to come into their own towards the end of the season and I will give it till then before writing him off.
