By sounds of it Smith offered very little again in the halfback role.

Iv always liked him, but this has been the same all this season, he should go to hooker, either allowing Powell to go halfback with Williams (whenever he is fit) or along with Powell with us bringing another halfback in.

This isnt a kneejerk, just a fact, forwards shouldnt be getting the ball on the last tackle. He should be controlling the side, not being blown around with it.

We need some support for Sam Powell for sure.

Matty Smith has been poor for months now. We wont drop him because we are running out of players, but if we could replace Smith at halfback next season I would sincerely look into it.

Smith should just go and take Isa with him.

Worst performance from those 2 in particular I have seen on a rugby field.

Smith offeres nothing in attack, fails to guid the team around the pitch, props and backrow forwards kicking on the last inexcusable, and is a target in defence.

His performance today was summed up for me when he put the ball down on and sat on his having a go at the team and chucking his toys out of the pram when he should have been getting up and killing the ball. Wakefield pick it up and stroll half the length of the pitch to score.

Wane needs a reality check but I still think he will continue with his outdated methods and stubborn ways when it comes to player recruitment and recalling loan players.

Smith should just go to a club that requires his core level skills. which would be a Championship one.

The passing accuracy of the team is terrible, Smith's however has to be up there with the worst. Nearly every pass he throws goes behind the intended target stalling any forward movement at all.
