visiting the arc de triomphe, then the Montjuic mountian, visiting the monastery of ST Jerome, off to the natural history museum and finally Wigan pier.

Nooooo, It is close though.
But the point is, and try and grasp this, Wigan isn't.
The point was that Hoffman and his lady-friend are going round Europe (where it is very cultured and exotic) and finishing in Wigan (where it...isn't). It isn't the best way to finish a holiday. That is all.
Your hatred for Warrington town is unusual. Don't be so defensive. People might think I struck a nerve. |

I couldn't find this Warrington top 10 worst place to live.
But by most people's accounts where i live is pretty horrible.
It is just behind Middlesbrough.
