Nice touch the flag the club put up tonight for "higgy"

I wondered if that had anything to do with it. I could only see 1943-2010 as I was underneath it, wondered what the dates were all about.

AN update on other flags. Matty B and his mates are due to receive the 8 in a row flag anytime now. We have a design and a quote of £210 for a 12 x 6 flag with Andy Farrell on it. It's an image of him lifting the Challenge Cup with the words 'You Beauty, Wigan RLFC' on it. It's a cracker.

We have £155 pledged/received towards that flag. If anyone else can help out with a fiver/tenner here or there PM either myself or Jukesays. Soon as the money's in we'll get in ordered and hopefully it'll be up for the Leeds home game.

Has there been any increase in donations since the web link was given out on the official website?

How about someone contacting the WEP and Obby, showing them the piece on the site, this should get the word out to more people.

Maybe another way of payment for folk without access to the internet.

Red flag with white letters although Farell's shirt is shown in blue.

The web payments. Currently £70. The idea is put that towards the one after the Farrell flag.

There has been some donations direct to the Paypal and that is going to be used towards the Next design I believe.
If anyone does want to donate towards the Farrell one than as Jimmy says contact him or myself before donating via PayPal on the Website if possible.

The club as forwarded the information to the 3 local papers and I believe there is already an article in the Wigan Reporter this week (It's actaull quite a big section next to the Famous Amos/Wire game article!).

There shlould be something going in the Evening Post & the Wigan Observer in the next Week or so as the guy that does this for those paprers was off last week.
