He’s been very silly in his post match comment fuelled on emotion.

The reason he is such a character is because he is unpredictable and to be fair he has been a fantastic owner and built a team he and the town should be proud of.

Decisions go your way and they go against you. I’ve not seen him carrying on when they have gone for his club.

It wasn’t the right forum for him to express these views and he needs reminding of it.

The ref was consistent on the night on the 2 calls in the cold light of day he needs to realise that and retract his comments publicly given he chose to make them public.

Life is never dull with DM in SL and it’s a better place for it no doubt.

DB has had more of a positive impact on SL than a negative one. Maybe every owner should be like the old Wakey, or current Cas ones instead. No one knows what they are called, no development plans, no ambition, vote against growth plans etc - just stay silent tho and you'll be ok.

Btw - yeah I do think he was right to comment. It was right for McManus to comment post CC final when they get done in by a bad decision and Leigh are right on this one. I wish IL/KR publicly challenged the RFL more.

Most if not all owners and chairmen including our own are very vocal with the RFL.

They just chose to do it in the right forum in a professional way.

That is where DM has dropped the ball here.

He could have voiced his opinion without carrying on like this and raised it the correct way.

We've seen real change this season all driven by having an organisation outside of the RFL having a real say on things.

I really don’t get the love in for Beaumont this season. Fans hailing that he’s good for the game etc. this is a man who wilfully stopped paying his players and that video proves what an odious little man he really is

The trouble with having characters is you can end up with someone like Koukash.
