What a total load of balls you talk. there was more people left in that ground than you get for a home game . I'm surprised you can see anything with them balls hanging in front of your face *but that does explain your view* .. Do the maths on that one numb nuts .

| I didnt leave the game when it finished today, although if i did i certainly wouldnt be losing any sleep over it!
Its good when other fans cant criticise wigan for anything else, other than leaving after a game has finished

I kept the faith and I kept voting
Not for the iron fist but for the helping hand
For theirs is a land with a wall around it
And mine is a faith in my fellow man
Theirs is a land of hope and glory
Mine is the green field and the factory floor
Theirs are the skies all dark with bombers
And mine is the peace we knew

I seem to remember OT was empty at the Saints end when Wigan lifted the SL trophy in October 2010

| The 'bridge' was a nightmare tonight.
Hope they build another one soon!
Actually felt sorry for some people, there was an elderly couple in front of me that were really struggling to stay on their feet in the mud and with people pushing in front of them.

39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

| I can't believe other fans expect wigan fans to stay for 15 mins after the game to watch the other team lift the trophy, nobody else does, but because its wigan....
I did but I can see why others wouldn't.
There was no Wigan walk tonight....

Who? Danny McGuire? He's out already isn't he, courtesy of the Rugby Gods?
Or did you mean Maguire, the Wigan coach?
Mind you, even Sky Sports managed to get his name wrong on one of those pre-game captions, so maybe we can let you off!

But surely RG, we all go to the game to watch our team play RL , not to beat the traffic.
If they want to beat the traffic then get up at 6am on a Sunday morning and they can then drive around Wigan for an hour in traffic free bliss.
No RL club gets Soccer type attendances so leaving early to beat the traffic is a pretty poor excuse. Most RL fans support the team of the town they live in (apart from Saints fans of whom a notable number live and work in Warrington) so getting home for anybody is not a real problem.

3076_1671446335.jpg SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS
For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.
For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.
Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_3076.jpg |

The people I refer to live in Lancaster, that's why they always leave about five minutes early. They are also in their seventies.
As I have said the DW isn't the easiest place to get away from on match days. HTH.

| I never understand this "beating the traffic" nonsense... I park on the car park right outside the ground and its not that bad getting out. Police are usually on the traffic lights letting everyone out so it keeps flowing

| There was no Wigan walk on Sunday night, in fact there is no such thing as the Wigan walk. As i have explained before on here, all clubs have at least 10% of the crowd that leaves before the end of the game, for whatever reason. 10% of a Wigan crowd looks more dramatic than 10% of the small crowds other teams get.

Totally agree with your point .... wouldn't get too upset though ..... the simple fact is if Wigan fans stayed for a couple of hours after each game the other fans would try to find some other issue with Wigan.
Big clubs are always envied by the smaller clubs .... just look at the amount of posts from Warrington fans on the Wigan site.

We went to the bridge, saw it and decided to walk down the towpath instead to the Seven Stars.
