I don't know what his rumoured wage is in Union, but for the sake of this argument lets' say it's £160K (twice as much as his rumoured wage here). Couple that with the £15/£20K they get per England performance plus personal endorsements and the freebies that go with playing International RU. It's safe to say that 'if' he's a success he 'could' be earning around £300Kpa as is the rumoured annual income of Chris Ashton.

Spot on. He obviously has no idea how much money the taxman takes if he thinks Joel would be anywhere near a millionaire after 12 years at £80k p.a., even if he lived on bread and water and stayed at his mum and dad's house!!!
