That in itself is a sackable offence. To put that level of performance in against your fiercest rivals and BE HAPPY with it? Inexcusable.

| I feel like I just want him out the door, now. I hardly even care who a caretaker coach would be for the rest of this season.

As I expected he was chuffed. I know he can’t come out and say we’re rubbish but you sense there’s that much self confidence, that he really does feel he’s going ok and at some point the players will catch up and do ok as well.
I bang on about it all the time but I was done with Lam half way through his first season. There wasn’t any basis of a game plan shining through. I didn’t know what we wanted to be and I still don’t. I don’t rate Woolf and Saints are so poor to watch but you know what he wants. He wants them to complete high, compete, play for field position and use Coote out the back to create and guys like Walmsley and Paasi to barge over in the middle. His method is a bit Wane esq whereas I’m not sure what Lam wants us to be and I sense the players are even less sure.

You know you're having a poor season when you think Tony Clubb coming back into the team next week will bring us some improvements.

| If Isa picks up a ban (very probable and deserved IMO) what's the chances of Hankinson coming back or will Lam chuck Farrell in at centre and weaken the pack even more ?

| Where was the reaction to losing a Grand Final in the last second of the game? That first 15 minutes should’ve been all out war from everyone wearing our shirt and we got something I’d expect from playing Wakefield on a Sunday in front of 3,000 fans.

You can always tell when a team is playing very badly. The ref comes in for criticism.

It's not such a bad plan. If you have Walmsley and Paasi. And easily good enough to beat most of SL, including us, who are rivalling Leigh as the softest touch in the comp. But at least Leigh are scoring some tries!

No ref could impact on our games badly enough to alter a result at the minute but Child was just outrageously poor tonight. It’s not an issue, it probably put an extra few points on the board but some of the basic errors he made were just stunning. The Naiqama knock on second half being played on was a real highlight for me.

It works for them so fair play. They’re lucky Woolf has come after Holbrook though. Had he been the man in charge after KFC had departed, he wouldn’t have lasted a full season IMO. It used to get thrown at Wane that line but Wane kept winning things with a playing group that kept getting pulled apart. Woolf has arguably a better squad than Holbrook ever had, with only really Thompson a loss and some excellent juniors breaking through and others being more experienced now. He’s riding the coattails of a fantastic coach for me.

| Yeah, I don't disagree, NK. Holbrook deserves the credit for Saints. But looking at the state of the tactics (or lack of) of the Wigan side, it seems almost churlish to be slagging them off. They didn't have to get out of second gear to beat us, and they have beaten much better sides than Wigan this season.
