I think Lammy has summed it up in all honesty.

The kick is 50/50. He kicks it and it's the right call, he misses and it's the wrong one.

The big mistake we made (not using the full minute allowed was another) was not chasing the kick. Saints were 10/15 yards further up the field than they should have been.

And not holding down before the drop goal play. 6 again would mean nothing in that si2as the hooter would go before they could try the drop goal

Does he definitely call 6 again there though and not a penalty?

Yeah if they had done it two or three times in the set then we would be looking at penalty and sin bin but would have been fine doing it once. Whether the players knew that I don't know.

Considering many of our "fans" have moaned all season, and many people thought Saints unstoppable, it was hardly a one sided affair.

Massive kudos to all the players involved, shame there had to be a loser, but thats sport. Onwards!

A lesson we also should have learned from the 2014 final with Matt Smith is that the ball had to go dead . Good chance of the ball back and also run the clock down if we don't.

it was a performance that should and would win 99/100 Grand Finals. 85% completion, low handling errors etc.

No complaints as it was a coin toss who would win. We came up short. There is no shame in losing a game like that. I did think Saints on reflection deserved it. Their pack was on top. We were kicking deep within our own half practically all game. Felt we were the more dangerous with ball in hand. Game of inches, Zak's kick hitting the crossbar etc.

The best Grand Final in history without a doubt. Tragedy no fans were there to see it live.
