Yesterday it was a nailed-on treble, now it's “we’re not bothered about that one” it was three silver objects waiting to be engraved; now one is just a hubcap, and it was never part of the master plan. Give me a break! I’ve seen one post along the lines of, every wire that went was happy after the game, couldn’t care less, it’s next week that counts. Face it, like we had to last week, the flying fickle finger of fate has poked Wolfie in the eye and sent it yelping home. Be like your coach and take it on the chin. He picked a side he thought was good enough to win (so did I) but it wasn’t good enough. We have had to eat some at times this season, and might have to eat some more before it’s all over, but today it’s your turn now. So take a big fat bite of HUMBLE PIE, and choke on it!

Agreed. We were getting a lot of stick last week when they beat us and now they go out and get destroyed by one of the worst teams in the league, basically meaning the result against us was meaningless and suddenly the league doesn't matter. |
