Hudds may win, and may win by more than 6, but it will be in no way 'Comfortable'. Our lads will scrap right til the end.

By comfortably i just mean with a few points to spare. I know all the players will be up for it.

I don't think Hudds will get away from us, there may be 8, points in it, 10 at the very most. It's not like our lads will tire near the end, as one thing they are is fit. Should be a cracking game, we have nothing to lose hopefully our young lads will give them hell.

Interesting game this one. I've grown in confidence as the week has prgressed. It's been mentioned already ... a little bit of adversity is something we have benefits from over the years...backs to the wall and all that! But this isnt the only reason for optimism...

We're underdogs and our coaches will have them fired up on the back of this - we're not expected to win..right?
The 1st 12 names on our team sheet are all internationals (if tiny tim is right!!)
If we were playing this game with our 'best' starting 17 - in current form 'post WCC' - this game would still be a tough ask - the adversity factor may just lift us

Dont get me wrong this will be a tough game, if you look at the two teams on paper Hudds have a stronger 17..but we all know games aren't played on paper!

Comon Wigan

Can someone explain to me why Wigan's unbeaton start to the season is supposed to be so all conquering and making Wigan the team to fear/despise in the same breath.

Started by Drawing with St Helens - Although to be fair for 70 minutes were the best team by miles - but Sts are poor this season.


Next was Bradford a big victory against a shocking side who have beaten only Wakey and Crusaders

Next was Salford - Nice win but Salford are worse than poor.

Then scraped it against Hull who have only won one this season.

So 3 wins and a draw against the lesser lights.

Next three games are Giants, Wolves and Rhino's and the Warriors have a mini injury crisis.

If anyone wants to claim that the modern side can hold a candle to the legendary exploits of the undoubtedly great Wigan team of the late eighties and early nineties they need to win these games.

Otherwise they will be in danger of being one season wonders and the arrogance shown by my fellow Wiganers will have been shown to be premature.

You can only play whats in front of you..the Hull game was a tight one and if we're honest we're not hitting top form at the moment. However you fail to mention that when the chips were down Wigan came within inches of beating the best club side in the world only a few weeks ago. Rest assured whilst we have the current regime is in place, Wigan will be in with a shout of winning silverware over the coming years.

We are underdogs for sure, but for some reason I just get the feeling that we will win. I'm probably wrong (hope not). Don't think we have clicked yet this season. Bradford was good, St George good but we have yet to hit our straps. Regardless of who plays hopefully this will be tomorrow night.

It's time for this strength in depth we all keep going on about to show us how good it really is.
