Jamie Peacock's fatuous claims disappoint me. I always held him in high regard for his performances on the rugby field, but he's gone down in my estimation after that. To suggest that Thomas Leuluai/Mark Riddell delayed Danny McGuire getting treatment is completely ludicrous and I'm afraid he looks very silly for it.

I love the fact he calls our players cowards, when you consider that he plays alongside Ryan Bailey. I'm afraid this serves as an awful attempt at mind games and IMO puts unnecessary pressure on his team mates.

Comments such as this: "I'm sure our lads will remember it going into Saturday's game." Suggests to me that the Leeds players will be inclined to dish a bit out. I for one, truly hope they come out and take our heads off. I hope JP and the twitter brigade are frothing at their mouths to give it to "the cowards". Anything that increases their chances of seeing a yellow/red card, give away cheap field position and detract from the game plan. As previously mentioned, it's an awful attempt at mind games.

I hate to disappoint the tirade of Leeds supporters on here, but big Jamie's frivolous comments wont bother our lads one bit, as proven many times this season. He's not the first Yarkshire player/coach to come out spouting incoherent bile at our club/players/coach and I doubt he'll be the last. If this season is an accurate judgement to go by, I'm absolutely delighted that he has said this.

Anyway, as for Peacocks comments. If it helps for a raised intensity for the game on Saturday then I'm all for it. And as much as the Wigan fans think that this should be used as motivation for the game, what do you think the Rhinos will be using as motivation. Both teams have a lot of motivation after what went on in the game and the comments said by a few people in the media over the last week or so.

As long as that is all it does. I fear that Jamie's comments will only serve to add to the mounting tension between the supporters of both clubs. And when you consider the record of Leeds United, plus the fact you can mix freely around the ground - I think their could be some serious trouble on Saturday.

Not unlike what was said about Peacock after his high tackle on Tomkins. Not to mention exactly what your owns fans have been saying about the Buderus spear tackle on Prescott. Now what was that about 'two faced' again?

If only you spoke for the decent, ordinary Rugby League supporter. Most of them regarded McGuire's action as cheating. Likewise the incident involving Ablett, which many posting on RL sites not affiliated to particular clubs - TotalRL for example - seemed to think was one of the worst they'd ever seen.

No mate, sorry ... I'd like to give it to you that you represent the average RL fan, but you're clearly a long way from that.

The racist stuff, the comments from people who were glad that McGuire had got hurt - that was pathetic and the majority of posters on here were heavily critical of it. I'd like to think that you somehow missed all that and will now be glad to have been edified on this matter, but the trouble you've gone to with your avatar, pasting a shot of your own head and Jamie Peacock's hair onto a rather natty Wigan shirt, suggests that you have an agenda far removed from seeking openness and honesty and giving credit where it's due.

Try to pretend you're an outraged citizen all you want, but it won't wash. Your grasp of ethics is clearly as shaky as your grasp of spelling and grammar.

For years I have read this site and also been a RL Fans Widdow (mentioning no names) and never had the urge to register or post until I read this UTTER DRIBBLE FROM PEACOCK!!!!

Lets be honest he has never been the cleverest or the most articulate bloke in the world but I had always had a great deal of respect for him.

They'll be too busy down at Elland Rd on Saturday. And it's like this with us and Saints in the press every season, yet both sets of fans in that case respect each other. I can't see anything between fans boiling over personally. You always get 1 or 2 idiots but I think thats as far as it'll go.

I think this is key. We have at times this year come under attack and the staff and players have been quick to turn that into a positive. To call our players cowards and all the other frankly embarrassing stuff that JP has come out with, will not only have lost him alot of respect from those within the game, but served to gee up our boys im sure.

I hope the Leeds twitter army keep it up, anything that come Saturday will give us the edge in terms of composure and concentration.

Its a shame Danny Mc got injured, im not sure that at some point, Clarkey in his column doesnt have a point, the rest of the nonsense on here was just that, but the attempts by JP and Leeds to make McGuire out to be the victim are even funnier than when John Kear called us boring.

It does seem to be a feature of this successful season, that for whatever reason people within the game that I previously had massive respect for have decided to run there mouth of in the press about big bad Wigan. First there was John Kear then Nathan Brown and the list goes on…

I personally am very impressed by the lack of petty remarks coming from the Wigan camp, it has been so consistent from the start of the year that it must be a deliberate policy from MM and IL. Even in post game interviews MM has never (as far as I can remember) commented on anything but the two teams performances and I am sure he has been polite and cheerful in front of the TV cameras.
