I believe Brian washed them in Bold. Once that Launderette closed down he washed them in Thatto Heath...

I Heard when we had the Digital Switch over he put a Box of Daz on his New LCD Tele!
When their Liam asked him why he said it was because he had No Aerial! icon_lol.gif

It's getting late, time for Bed now!

this game is well worth £14, simply because our reserve team play better rugby than the 1st team and are much better to watch, I cant wait for the game

Just to put the record straight - the Leigh Club was expecting a strong Wigan team. That's what the written agreement with Wigan stated. The prices were set, with that in mind, and the fact that Wigan take 50% of the 'gate'. Everything about this game, including having produced a 48 page programme, (don't get many of them for an Under 20's game, eh?) was geared to playing a strong Wigan team! By the way, in your Media Manager's notes for the programme, he talks about a "mix of First and Reserve grade players" taking part in this match.

Not knocking your youngsters by the way - they are undoubtedly class - but I see no point in continuing with the third year of this 'agreement' next season.

Not really - it could well happen! Don't forget, we were 'relegated' and then reprieved, so we have a lot of ground to make up.

That would depend on what your getting paid though. From what I hear it isnt very much. I'd swap him for either of the 2 muppets we have on the wings tbh icon_sad.gif

As Alan said this could well happen as your youngsters are outstanding and have not lost a game for a while i believe so it should i hope be a very good test for us, hope to see a lot of you at the LSV all the best for the season.

Quote: JTB "Why on earth have you bought tickets for a game like this in advance?'"

Well I certainly won't be doing in future!

But to answer your questionfirst team pre-season friendly that I was definitely going to. That's what it has been marketed as and the reasonI am so annoyed at the club and consider that I have been conned. In a nutshell the club have lost my confidence and respect over this shoddy money-grabbing excercise.

Now the dust has settled and i've vetted my anger on next door neighbours cat i can now state that i will be attending the game tomorrow, yeah its £14 to watch my team field a complete reserve team but............
its a game of rugby league, a game that i've watched for 35yrs and will continue to do for the next however many years. I used to have sleepless nights before a game when i was younger and cry if the result went against us. Countless are the number of times that my sunday tea wasn't eaten because losing felt like the end of the world.
How many times have we all scored the winning try at wembley, but always the bell for the next lesson or the alarm clock awoke you as you touched down. Rugby league runs through my veins, i still have the same passion now as i did when i was an 8yr old lad, a lad who would put on his wigan shirt at 9am for a match that only kicked off at 3pm because he couldn't wait to get to central park to see his team play.
Yeah its £14 , yeah its a team of reserves.....but its an opportunity to once again feel that pride & passion that comes with seeing my team play the greatest game of all.....rugby league

Thats my battle cry overwith icon_thumb.gif
