Quote LovesToSpooge="LovesToSpooge"Very encouraging IMO that we've not played anywhere near to our potential in SL this year, yet were only 2 points of top with a game in hand. Were clearly going through a tough time at the moment yet all things considered we've picked up ten of a possible 14 pints all while not playing particularly well.'"
Agreed. Compare that with Wire. Things have been pretty straightforward for them this season in terms of injuries etc and yet the wheels still came off this afternoon at home againts a Catalan side that hasn't been going well and had loads of injuries to key players. I'm sure they played well but I can't believe Catalans played brilliantly, there must be a real problem with complacency in the Wire ranks.
It's a dreadful result for Wire and will have their fans panicking that they are going to blow it again this year.
The big winners from this weekend's results were Saints. They're going about their business quietly but effectively at the moment. Everyone, including some of their own fans and even Eddie (who seems to be obsessed with Warrington these days) have written Saints off. I think that could be a mistake.
