I agree with ideally wanting british however i believe complimenting them with good quality imports, the right side of 30 is beneficial to any team. Super leagues problem was the sheer number of imports combined with a fair precentage being the wrong side of 30. I'd guess LMS was asking more than Lima |

I still woudn't be surprised if Wire signed Inglis, Slater and Cam Smith and stayed under the cap by releasing Chris Bridge.

I was at the press conference and IL said Wigan would not be over the salary cap while he was in charge. He said they had been in touch with the rfl regarding the signings so they are fine. So to all the bitter and jealous fans find another rumour to get excited about.
Also when Maguire was asked about moving tommy to hooker permanently he said it was a possibilty, and IL chipped in with 'don't forget we will still have Paul deacon' so maybe Deacs will play on after all.

Exciting prospect next year, quality additions to the team - each one of them!
Lima - Workhouse prop, big bruiser can lift our pack.
Hoffman - Hard running, tackling second rower with that extra bit of skill our lads currently lack i.e. Offloads
Finch - Tommy to 9, Finch and Tomkins at HB. We'll see how this can develop.
