lets face it Giants fans couldn't give a rats about what Mason did, the fact that they not only blattenly tripped Tomkins, Brown was almost laughing as he was going off, their was that incident earlier as well with Hodgson (I think) pulling the supporting Wigan player back. They should have been down to 10 men let alone 11. As for Mason he is just a coward, it was cinical and he should have got a straight red. Their is no place for 5 h!t 0uts in the game. Should be proper banned.

But bottom line is we should have made the extra man pay but we didn't. Cheating Giants or Bentham we only have ourselves to blame.

I still love the fact that huddersfield fans keep stating O'Loughlin's challenge on Robinson was an attack to the neck, when video footage shows he hit Robinsons chest.

I said after the second time we played Huddersfield this season Brown told his team to deliberately attack Wigan players (in the game at their place 2 of our small players were taken out after kicks in revenge for the Murrayfield game) and were looking for a scrap. They've done the same thing today. Pre-meditated attacks should be punished more severely than anything that happens in the heat of the moment. That soft little sh** Brown didn't like the fact that we beat them in Murrayfield and that's the simple fact. Brown didn't get punished for publicly stating he'll send players out to deliberately try and injure the opposition, and it won't get punished again.

What Mason did was very naughty and he should get a 1-2 game ban but how anybody can call him a coward is beyond me. Mason is a guy who's taken Peacock to pieces in a fight and with Fieldens track record of fighting I'm sure Mason wouldn't of had a problem standing toe to toe.

IMO one of the main factors, no THE main factor the diciplinary should be looking at is intent. When it comes to high tackes, fractionally late challenges etc we could argue for the rest of the year whether it is intentional or not, only the player commiting the offence would know.

Having read the thread on the VT the vast majority of neutral fans agree that this was without doubt a cynical intentional stamp that could easily of ended Fielden's season and thus should end Mason's season.

Which is more than you get for knowing players.

I don't think anyone could or would try and defend what Mason did, it wasn't in the spirit of the game and could have resulted in a serious injury. I think we can put it down to a player who has been out for a long time getting a bit over excited and over eager and leave it at that.

Well there are an awful lot of Hudds fans on here, trying to do exactly that.
