Do you include the many thousands in our country who during the lockdown, have actually "Gone Back" to the seaside and the countryside and not social distanced with no encouragement whatsoever from anyone at the top!

I think the 24hr period where the Government backed Dominic Cummings co-inciding with the relaxation from "stay at home" to "stay alert" in England probably had something do with that?

I was talking more about the MAGA campaign and the rights attempt to "Go Back" to a mythical time when things were Great (As people have already, said, the time they want to "Go Back to wasnt that Great at all) and the rights attempt to promote the same over here. It promotes racist rhetoric.

The release of tightening of measures and the general public's response that which started around VE day to basically "Go Back" to normal will have done more to harm the R number than any BLM protest or counter protest.
However, the rhetoric from thebright is to BLAME the BLM movement for any 2nd wave or spike.

As an aside, myself and a regular poster where discussing the letter from IFL the other day and the response from 95% of people in a positive way.
That they would do whatever they could to help the club through this as best as possible.

We discussed getting together when the lockdown eases, beer gardens open and were able to meet up for a few. Main reason for a catch up, secondary reason to get supportive people together to come up with some ideas of ways we can help the club (for those who remember think The Anvil days).
Everyone will be welcome, a few scoops, a good catch up and hopefully try to come up with some ideas and do something positive for the club.
