Looks like a performance we were promised when Lam signed up. Still things to work on, first 20-30 mins we struggled, seems like discipline is still costing us. Was a turning point when Sezer left the field.
Hopefully a performance we can build on though. The depth we have in this squad is really exciting. Looking forward to getting Wells and Kilner into the mix and Having Lockers, Gilly and Clarke back in.

If we keep knocking off the wins then Good Friday is building up to look one hell of a game. Saints will certainly keep their form going, so we need to keep building our confidence. The prop selection is getting there now and that will be important. I’m thinking Flower for Clubb from today and that’s our best five.

Powell was always a solid player who could tackle and always gave maximum effort. His problem was that as a hooker everything went sideways. The solution was obvious, even to us, but it took someone a bit of coaching to get him moving forward. I do not know who, but somebody has sat him down and redesigned his movement from the PTB. Now the first movement is often forward, pinning the defence, and the pass is more incisive.
