Presumably unchanged since the last update 3 days ago, so no reason for more announcements.

We can't be expected to check if the club has made an announcement before demanding an announcement! Why does Wane not update fans daily on the inner workings of the club? Disgraceful way to treat fans who pay money to watch games of rugby. Leneghan out

| Not necessarily an announcement I'm after just a reasonable update with approximate return dates.
The last we heard was:
Escare- Season
Gelling - Long Time
Flower - Long Time
How long is a long time?
Season? Back for playoffs?
What about the rest of them?

| The issue with Gelling seems to be they need to scan him again. It's sounds like they know it'll be at least back end of the season before he's back but want to check again before ruling him out until next year.

It's difficult to say with long term injuries though isn't it? Depends on how quickly they recover

Surely Lockers won't play?

| There will be no choice but for Lockers to play sadly. He'll be at stand off but that still leaves us short of anyone to play scrum half.
It's either a 17/18 year old from the 19's or I presume a senior pro like Joel Tomkins, McIlorum or Liam Farrell. I'm racking my brains for options and none are jumping out. Maybe Ganson at 7?
The only other hope is Powell makes a miraculous recovery but rumour has it he's done for a month or so or Gregsons facial injury isn't as bad as first feared.

| Looks like John Bateman is close to returning. Can't come soon enough.
Much as I appreciate Willie Isa, his limitations have been rather exposed over the last few weeks and Bateman has been our best player over 2015 and 2016. We've really missed his desire and will to win.

That would be good news if he is back sooner rather than later, we have definitely missed his go forward and his bit of mongrel that he has. I can't help feel sorry for Willie Isa he's the modern Ged Byrne if you like, he can play in numerous positions but doesn't stand out in any one of them.

| Isa is very underrated IMO. He isn't going to make a break out of nowhere like Bateman or Farrell but he wacks them hard and acts as a bit of an enforcer when it gets tasty. A useful player to have in the side given salary cap restrictions.

| If we can possibly get some well overdue good luck with the spine of the side when they return over the next 3-4 weeks and keep them in place for the year, we might have a chance of getting back in the mix with a run of wins.
Tomkins, Williams, Leuluai, Mcilorum, Bateman, O'Loughlin - stick that lot into the team and we will add a huge amount of quality and leadership.

I do agree with this.
I wasn't intending to criticise Isa, just pointing out that compared to Bateman he is very limited (though to be fair most players are).
