| Quote: Wigan Peer "I looked into the stand at who was sat there.....
Then i looked at the calendar and saw it wasn't October...
Then i looked at the table and saw that however crap you think we are, and i do as well at the moment, and saw that we are riding quite high.... So, we can't be much worse than anybody else, despite having our WHOLE first choice pack missing
As i said. i have not once said we are playing well, but you can't just look at things in black and white. Its so easy to be critical, and when ANYBODY says anything positive, it's jumped upon as if someone has told you they have given your mother surprise anal....
This is my last post on here.....'"
My whole argument is that even with a full team I don't think we are good enough.
I accept your points but just happen to disagree it's nothing personal it is merely a point of differing opinions which makes the world go around.
I do agree it is far easier to be critical but it also easy to lower expectations which is where I feel the club currently stands.
If we agree to disagree then absolutely no problem.

| I think that you will be ok when injuries are cleared, however I would also be concerned about match fitness as I think that the pre season may have been lost and also hope that the players are not rushed back.
It's always nice to beat wigan, however I would prefer to be beating a full strength wigan ot as close too.the nwtutebof our sport means that injuries will happen and rarely will a coach have the choice of his first team.
Reading thru thread someare worried some aren't I think u have good players I do tho think that the style of players what's the issue more than the players not being good enough.

| A good team Warrington who well deserved their win, but I don't think they'd cope without their starting fullback (and marquee player), best winger, and entire starting pack ( going off squad numbers).
If we can get them back for the business end of the year, I think we can have a real go at Warrington

| Trying to look on the bright side.
Last season Warrington did exactly the same thing to us at their place, bullied us all over the park, ran out easy and deserving winners.
Super 8's came round 0-22, there's still hope but we need a massive turn around in form.

Most teams we've got cover in props cox badly England and king can do a job not ideal but would suffice I guess. I think the one injury we wire fans dread is Chris hill, he is immense
I don't think we would suffer massively missing one or two players but with the injury list u guys have I think most would struggle no matte what kind of depth there is in the squad.

| Apologies baily n Evans, always get Evans and England confused and also can add philbin too.
They all have some reviews super league experience so have some depth there once fit, tho like most teams they wouldn't really get a game if first two are fit.

| Genuinely i don't think Wigan fans should be too downbeat, the only thing won at this time of year is bragging rights.
When your top players start to filter back into the side especially STomkins you'll be a completely different force, it is testament to your depth and tenacity that you are still as high as you are even with a major injury crisis.
Here's hoping you finish 2nd to us and lose both finals, to us.

| I've just seen that Clubb has been charged by The RFL with "striking with the shoulder".
I'm sorry what? It was body to body contact and there was absolutely no striking of anything. Pathetic from the MRP yet again.

Absolutely baffled myself. Player welfare is paramount but it was a great shot and nothing more. If it was so bad why has nobody been talking about it in the press? Tony Smith didn't even say anything about it apart from Lineham was taken to hospital, everyone obviously hopes he's okay. I don't really like talking about referees, suspensions or anything of that kind but if he's suspended it really is farcical and i hope Wigan contest it.

| Injuries are influencing the RFL's decisions nowadays IMO. If Lineham gets up nobody blinks an eye at that challenge. It was the same with Boudebza's ban at the start of the season when Shenton got injured. That was a nothing incident but he gets a ban because a player has been injured accidentally.
They're two different types of challenges but the point stands.
