You couldn't be more wrong if you tried until Christmas.
However, I have played the game, and I know it for what it is. If you are afraid of aggression, then go find another game, because this one ain't for you.
If you think for one minute that Wane's actions are not copied in every RL changing room up and down the country every week, then you are deluded.

haha i love the 'i've played the game line'. Your no doubt male and from Wigan, i'm male and from St Helens. 95% of the male population from both Wigan and St Helens have played, including myself. The difference is if my coach told me to go out a KO opposition players who i've know for years and are family friends, somehow i doubt i would follow through with it. Not because i lack aggression because i have a brain. Wigan where aggressive but Saints had controlled and channeled aggression. Two diffident things and two different results.

I suppose you could say Wanes "permission to be reckless" is pure brainless agression. So when Flower came down with the final punch, he didn,t have a brain.

Whereas you've never had a brain.

Do you think Wane has a full human brain or a part animal brain.

| Quote: Jack Kerley "Yes, of course. I mean look at the evidence. Saints couldn't put 12 men to the sword on Saturday, even though they had 13 men against 12 for 78 minutes.
They made one solitary break in the whole game, against a team a man down.'"
I'm not sure what your point is.
You made countless breaks (which probably inflated your meters in the stats count) but we expected you to do so. Your advantage is in the backs and you got the ball there every opportunity because we had you through the middle. Thompson and Richards were exceptional.
Two kids.
We played everything through the middle and ground out the win. You didn't score in the second half. Not because you bombed chances, but because our defence (in particular our cover defence) was outstanding given the amount of shuffling we had to do. Lms to centre, wellens to HB, makinson to FB, Percival to wing.
I think people see what they want to see and if you really think the best team lost I think you are completely deluded. I thought it was an even game really and we took our chances and defended well. Ultimately that wins you a close match.

Not sure how you can claim your defence was "outstanding" when a 12 man team made 6 breaks, one of which should have been a certain try but Farrell failed to pass. He bombed the chance. It certainly wasn't outstanding defence!

My point is pretty simple really. Saints had a massive advantage for 78 minutes of the game, and huffed and puffed their way to a scrawpy win.
Which part of that is difficult to understand?
It shouldn't make any difference how good Wigan's backs were, you always had more than enough men to nullify them in defence, and more than enough to get round them in attack.
The truth of it is that Saints were clueless, but don't worry, Travis will sort that out next season.

Saints were poor in attack, but that may have had something to do with wigan taking out their only recognized play maker in the 17 within 2 mins of kick off... wouldnt be surprised if you guys had planned to target LH, but not to the extent BF did

Sorry mate, but LH has never done anything in a Saints shirt to warrant any special "Treatment" from the opposition.
To be honest, I think Flower increased Saints chances of a win by removing LH from the equation.

| Not sure if anyone has commented on this thread but one of the reasons that SW didn't comment straight after the game is that he was congratulating every Saints player individually on their performance.

Definitely a full animal brain, otherwise how would he have out-coached every single opposition coach at least once this season?
