Exactly.
This move is driven by more then Taylor wanting to play for 'his team'. It's money motivated imo. I can't see how it can't be because the honesickness thing doesn't wash with me.

| Today showed that we are crying out for a strike forward like Tautai. Our back row is filled with workhorses but we desperately lack a dynamic powerful forward or 2 to be a game breaker in an arm wrestle of a match.

Dont really know much about Tauti but we do desperately need the type of player that you describe, and have done for some time imo. There are still occasions when our pack gets dominated in the forward battle and we do need to add a few more powerful forwards.

Agree. The only time one of our forwards broke a tackle we scored.

I would agree with that, he looked like he was praying to be subbed the way he was looking round after he scored.

| To be fair to Farrell he was getting some shocking service from Williams.
If ever a player is out if his depth in my opinion it is him.

You say Farrell was poor tonight then what about the others.
Ben Flower may be excused because he was coming back after about 5/6 weeks out. what happened to the new Wane policy of CERTAIN players have to prove their fitness by being shipped of to Workington to prove it.
Mickey Mac did not do any thing special, Clarke (when on ) looked far more dangerous with ball in hand.
Dudson ( a bit brutal here) I think there is far more potential for the future in Jordan James.
Farrell I think played the full 80 and in the position he plays in my eyes did nothing wrong .
Bateman I thought he had a steady game even though Cas seemed to find space a lot on that side at times.
Lockers in the first half was a disaster with ball in hand even though he still did his tackling.
Before the season started fans commentated about how strong the pack looked, I think it is looking very week now.

For all the plaudits Bateman has received this has been a problem all season when he has played. He simply does not number up and slide as he should and the right suffers as a result, leaving those outside him exposed. He also misses more than a few tackles in defence and missed a couple of shockers last week against Huddersfield. Today Cas cut us up quite a few times down that side again, more than last week in fact, and once again it is those inside being lazy in defence. If Goulding had have played there would have been a thread blaming him, as its Gelling and he is the current flavour of the month and he isnt leaving then I guess there wont be.

I know its easy to say things after the event but do you think it ws a good move for wane to bring everyone back for this game, I said before the game that I thought he was playing into our hands a little as there was no way all the returnees were going to be match fit and that would tell in the end.
I bet some of them will be given a further rest for the return fixtue on friday.

| In the post match interview on Wigan TV Waney says that Taylor and JJ will be back next week along with Charnley.
If he's so sure were they fit enough to play today?
Taylor and James will be but Charnley's not played for weeks.
Two losses and two poor performances.
I reckon we had 7 out of our staring 17 missing today. How can that not make a difference? Cas perhaps only Carney missing.
Waney has a big job on for next week getting the right squad selection.

In a first choice Wigan 17 you would see Charnley, Thornley, Green, Taylor, Clubb and Pettybourne.
